Would an Omex loom for a F4R work for a F7R, guessing all the sensors are the same connectors and in the same place (ish) ? Would any mods be needed ?

Any feedback ?

F7R flywheel cannot be used with Omex, it doesnt understand it.

Can you say more about the spec of the two engines? For example the inlets are very different, but if both are on bodies then the temp sensor etc would then be in the same place.
Obviously the VVT connector you just wouldnt use.

Sorry its taking the F7R ITB engine from the old rallycar into the cup racer (no issues with flywheel etc.)? I have an Omex loom from a 172 ITB engine and wandered if im going to have to change all the connectors and extend wire lengths etc..? Or just but an new loom and start again.

Depends on how much slack there is in the current loom really mate and they vary a lot depending on who made them, you will have to just try it, but I would expect the vast majority of it to just work as it is.

pretty easy to make the switch. You can't use the cup racer flywheel though, they have a modified trigger pattern which Omex doesn't want to work with.
