Omp fast road/track pads

  Inferno 182 & Saxo
These any good? Heard good things about them on the saxo scene and they are less than half the cost of ds2500s etc. 971 carbon or something they are called.

got the price a little wrong as I was looking at rears instead of fronts by mistake, but the real price for fronts is around £85~ a set compared to 120 for DS2500s. A little bit more expensive that 1144s

Ive never known anyone to use them mate. My only advice would be if you 'wanted' fast road pads is go for the carbone loraine rc5+ i think they are excellent even from cold, better imo than the ds2500's.

Just heard good things about them, probably best to sticking to what I know as I use ds2500s in my saxo

As above! - Best pads I used when I had standard calipers in the 172, also used them in my old 200.

I used them in the 182 and the current owner (toby off here) will agree how well it stops. Got them in the civic and they just get better the more you use them.

The RC5s dont seem to be too badly priced either, i'll look into it. Just the standard ferrodos seem to make a hell of a lot of dust

Unfortunately dust is a by-product of better pads, my PF 01's cover the side of the car and cake the wheels each day out but then the car stops on a dime.

Don’t know if the RC5's are still around but make sure you get the RC5+'s.

Iv got mintex M1155's in my cup, have really pushed them to the limits and they still worked faultlessly, had them smoking and still didn't suffer from fade

Brilliant pads Dan, I went over Dan's after fitting them and the smoke was bellowing out when I pulled up, could smell them from in the workshop lol
