This is a rare model which was only out from January to May 2001 and only 1000 or so were sold. It has the same 75BHP 1.2 16v engine as the Dynamique but the car is lighter (and thus faster) and the engine is tuned to give more torque.

not sure might be a special edition or something, but that stuf about it being lighter is totoal bollow. Pretty funny how hes gone from a 1.2 clio to a TVR! Also, the skirt arent blended in at all! this is blended in...

No, my missus had one I think it was just to get rid of the last few phase 1s. They put on alloys, white dials, double optic headlamps and sports suspension and sold them for about £500 than the most basic model.

I stopped selling Renaults in March 2001 and knocked a few of this model out. (I even bought a Sunflower Yellow one myself!) Before Jan01 they had a 1.2 Grande and a 1.4 sport which was an 8valve engine. In Jan they replace the 1.4 8v with a 1.2 16v and thus called it the Clio 16v. It all changed again in June becuse they facelifted and introduced new trim levels like Dynamique/authentique etc...

Theres nothing special about them at all (except my old yellow one which I still see driving around! )

bad boy bonnet, possible coilovers, remove the rear badges, get rid of the vents and put a cup spoiler on it and it would b nice!

Its not lighter and faster than a standard 1.2 Dynamique as he says due to the excess max power guff plastered on it and how much more torque can you tune from that engine?

Im afraid to say it but thats one of the better looking modded Clios in the Glasgow area!!! Not saying much that though.
