One side of car lower than other

  Mk5 R32 (ex.182 (Cupped))

Just been taking pictures of my motor earlier on, and noticed since ive had the pi lowering springs (35 front 30 rear) ive noticed that one side of the car at the back is lower than the other....

Is there any reason for this? And firstly its the right side of the car that seems lower, and ive only had passengers on the left back, so couldnt be that only one sides worn in...

And also, i watched them put the springs on, they didnt accidently put the one 35 on the back and one 30.

So anyone got ideas?

Nope not at all, all brand new wheels, tires are same, its the actual gap between the top of the tire to the bottom of the arch... Noticeable.

erm yeh they are pi springs not very good really might just need the spring twisting around on the platform

Thats what i thought..... but i watched the guy put em on, they seemed exactly the same way round....

as mike said, spring may not be sitting right, in which case would not have enough support and would sit lower

though i do remember the air pressure incident roamer, had us all perplexed at the pub

But that wouldnt effect the gap between top of tire and bottom of arch would it?

Yeh.... ill have a look around under me motor tommorow... if i dont see anything ill pop down the garage and get em to sort it.

This couldnt effect my braking could it? My brakes still feel as if the back aint workin at all...

Cheers all.

it should never feel like the rears are working, if it does you could be in for a torrid time under heavy braking from speed as the back end will probably end up locking up, not good at all

*edit - just read the post properly*

But id of thought it would effect them by pulling me to one side? Cause ever since ive had it lowered, it just dont feel right.... as if the back ones arnt working as well, and the handbrake needs to go higher before the tension....
