yup i can vouch for

www.ebuyer.co.uk - ordered loads of components from them to build full pcs, prices are very competitive and delivery times arent bad

www.overclockers.co.uk - they are a massive uk business but are local to me so dont know about delivery times but they are a very good shop, again very good prices.

well i cant stand the ebuyer site it's just annoying so i doubt i'll use them lol

Overclockers is a fantastic shop, until you have a problem. They are widely renowned as having the worst RMA service in the universe!!

Scan & Microdirect are very good

Aria sometimes have good deals

www.cclonline.com this is where i ordered my parts from, ordered them before 4 and they were at my door next day before 12, can't complain about that ;)

Yup, they're about the cheapest i've found, and its not far from where i work, i order 1st thing in the morning and they send me a text message when my orders ready - lovely!

I ordered a complete build of pc parts from OcUK a while back, got exactly what I ordered and quick delivery.. BUT !! I didnt have any problems so couldnt comment on their returns, others seem to have had problems so would probably order somewhere else.

Another vote for Ebuyer here, spent thousands with them and can't fault them :)

I'll admit ebuyer have been very good - had a fault with a digital camera and they sorted that straight away.

Thats the only problem i've had over past 2years using them.

First port of call when i think i need something electrical!

The best I have used are Novatech and they use a decent courier (UPS). CCL are also very good but the stock is limited and pretty poor imo.

Overclockers have very nice stock, but their reputation is shocking.

Scan is a sort of between.

Personally if its stocked by Novatech I get it from there.

I bought a faulty set of Acoustic Energy Aigo speakers from Overclockers last year. I returned them the next day and they dispatched some more at the same time which turned up the following day. No complaints there.
As mentioned before, Scan are also very good.

OCuk are the worst company i've ever dealt with, completely incompetant cowboys.

http://www.ciao.co.uk/overclockers_co_uk__5097152

Scan/Aria/Komplett/Tekheads are much better companies to deal with in personal experience.

Personally though I wouldn't touch OCUK again with a stolen dick!

Seems to me all companies screw somebody over from time to time, I personally would never touch Scan (or "Scam" as I prefer to call them) with a 50ft bargepole :S They sent me a mixture of incorrectly picked and broken parts, totally failed to respond to any communication when I was trying to return them, even letters, and then I had to threaten them with Trading Standards to get anywhere in the end

I tend to use Misco, eBuyer, Crucial, SVP, and a little-known one I use which has always provided me with good service when I have used it is Redstore.com.

Btw guys if you buy a lot of PC parts etc I highly recommend signing up to Quidco and checking out the relevant section, quite a lot of suppliers (including several mentioned in this thread) offer some good cashback through Quidco, I've done quite well off a few PC upgrades for people recently :approve:

Komplett were awesome on returns for me.

I ordered 3 TFT monitors.. and one was faulty. So I sent it back and it "got lost in transit". Basically, it got scanned in at a depot but never left it.. and they couldn't find it.

Went on for like a month of me chasing the delivery company with no luck (insurance was only £100 and monitors were £280 each).

Komplett in the end said "This is getting silly, we'll chase the delivery company" and sent me another new one! Dunno if they ever got mine back, but they didn't seem to care.. got a new one the next day.. :D

I very much doubt any other company would have done that.. especially as I'd organised the delivery etc.

I live about 2 minutes from them, they're excellent to deal with, only drawback is they always seem to take their time to get the orders together when your waiting for them to pull it out of the warehouse. (That's when you've walked in off the street and physically sat there waiting that is) Everything else is ok though. :approve:

Overclockers - well i bought an entire build last week no less and rma's a whole load of stuff (faulty ram module) unwanted ram and unwatned heatsink. no problems at all money back in my acc now. quick delivery and cluded up technicians too.

Microdirect - quick delivery, had to RMA a motherboard, still waiting on the refund though...
