Online Photography Portfolio

Is there a professional looking site OR program for a good/easy to manage "gallery".


It would be to show of photography images - i have some domains and hosting so if there is a free script you are aware of that is perfect for my description!

preferably able to comment and rate each picture!

hmmmm afraid I'm not to clued up on that, am interested in making my own though once I get some better shots, I'll have a nosey on some photog forums for you..

I use Photoshop CS to make the gallerys and then upload them to my own webspace.

£20 a year now (and once you sign up that fee is locked, I'm still paying the rate from 4 years ago), and you get unlimited storage and traffic. Loads of different upload tools and you can have public galleries, password protected galleries etc or completely private stuff. Everything I post here on CS is directly from there.

Looking at my stats, just in the past 7 days my Brands Hatch pics have had over 20,000 views, and nearly 250 pics have been downloaded at original size from that gallery alone (usually 1.5MB-2MB each), it's great not having to worry about traffic etc, overall stats are that I've had over 4GB of bandwith used since May 1st.

The referral scheme is great too, $10 for every person you recommend and $5 off for them, I know some people who won't have to pay their fee for a few years now.

Only problem is that selling is in US dollars and not set up for UK folk. I use Photobox when people want to buy a print.

put over about 40 in it will lag any pc tho, renders all the full res or something, put it in a iframe on any page
