I wonder if that could be adapted in some way for an ITB setup, so that one could run ITB's and a turbo together? :evil:

EDIT: Or, with my sensible hat on, is there something on the market already that would achieve the same thing?

Can't seeing the gains being that great though if I'm honest. Surely the blower can only feed the engine with so much air, so the number of throttle bodies would be irrelevant, right???

Wrong, will be getting air faster. Quite a few cars do have ITB's and forced induction. Easy enough with the right amount of money!
 
that looks like a forced induction set-up with ITB's... Where as the F4R one is a plenum with single TB?!

Yes in that image - but ITBs/Single TB or pressurised/NA aside - you still have a plenum & runners configuration designed for equal distribution from a single inlet source, drawing from a common volume of air.

^ The same parts implemented on IIRC an evo engine @ autosport, but with a single tb setup.
