opinions needed

Right so basically I'm 18 and have a little 1.2 clio which I've owned for little over a year. its been off the road now since december as me and the missus have just moved into a new house and at the moment we cant afford to insure and run it aswell as getting the house sorted, I'm considering selling it as its not getting used at the moment and we could really use the cash, but I know if I sell it I'm not going to be able to afford a car as nice for quite a while, whereas we might be able to afford to insure it in a few months but obviously that's another few months of it just sitting there, so I'm looking for peoples opinions as to what they would do,

i'd sell up tbf if it was memate, if its been off the road since december it sounds like you don't heavily rely on it for work etc.

sell up, then start saving a bit every month to get another car, worst case scenario is that you really need a car so you buy a cheap car to get you round.

Sell up and use the cash on your house, Sounds like you dont need it. Save a little each month and then get a car when you are ready. Who cares if its a banger any way no point trying to keep up with the Jones! :nono:
