opinions on rockford speakers...

thinking of gettin new rockford speakers all round? anyone got them and are they any good?

and it think they are rubbish thier amps are good the speakers are sh*te

depends. JBL for subs really.

I quite like MB Quart speakers, they dont look the most stylish, but they sound really good and dont cost a fortune.

infinity do pretty nice sounding speakers also

FOCAL ALL THE WAY they have just released budget speakers at £150 which sound excellent and there range is quality i got the FOcal Kevalr 2 components front and back £250 for a set well worth it though!

Trouble with focal is they tend to self destruct quit often

mate if your starting off get a budget sorted and go and have a listen at a good ice specialist

I myself would recomend alpine because the quailty is great and the sound is good

But if i were you i would get testing

i recomed JL components they are really nice and very good value for money. you are running these off a seperate amp arnt you ?

Yes but JL is serious kit

and its very expensive

if you buy the high end fosgate stuff they are the best.

the cheap stuff is sh*te

I have never found any decent car speakers which are: good value for money, good sound quality and good reliability.

I would suggest using home stereo component speakers. If you run them at the right OHM level and cross them over correctly they will sound the B****cks!! I had two pairs of them in my previous car and am thinking about putting them in the doors on me new one. And they havent blown et!! Only lookling about £100.00 for a decent set!
