Renault Sport 172 Exclusive(limited edition), any good?

Full leather,BBS alloys, only 172 made, only available in green!

Strikes me as more exclusive than the williams or the cup and they defo wont bring out a second/third edition.

Personally i like the green/blue flip colour and its different so most people who are wanting to race will think its a 1.4 etc. shame its a mk2 ph1 and not ph2

The reason im asking is the SILVER 172 i just bought has gone back due to it being an import under false pretences, So i need a 172 quick. I have found an Exclusive for sale and its mint low millage and cheaper than the other one even though its a few months newer on an 02 plate regestered in may. This time i have checked the vin plate with renault and its defo a uk model so full warrenty etc. What do you think shall i buy it?

the exclusive is certainly "limited" (to 172 to be exacgt0 but a "green blue flip"???? I dont think so, its just a metallic green on the ones Ive seen - plus has full leather interior rather than a leather/alcantara interior - and

I think he mean ths 172 was 02. Like the 172 exclusive, not sure about the beige leather, but it is a matter of taste.

The exclusive is just a drab dull metallic green, too ordinary in my opinion for such a nice car. When I was looking at 172s they had a used exclusive at Sighthill in Edinburgh, but it wasnt until I looked inside and saw the different seats that I realised what it was.

Its an 02 plate it was registered in may 2002 its is one of the last of the production run. Dont worry i have checked the vin No. with renault HQ and its defo uk n legit. Viewing it tommorow with intent to buy! Trouble is theres a mk1 v6 also in my price range but the insurance would be a killer. I might test drive that just for the shear hell of it see if i can get it out of shape on some round about. (While its still someone elses mota);)

The exclusive is the mutts nuts go for it and be a bit different.....Says he who bought an Iceberg silver 172 MK2....while running for cover....;)

Get it, be different! There is one in Dunfermline and it looks very nice on the road and you can tell a mile away its not a 1.2/1.4. Unlike black 172s muhahhaaha....................

If its an exculusive i will have a number 1-172 if im right. An 02reg would have had to sit in a showroom for a bit before it was regd. They are nice though. Wheels make to stand out fro, normal MK1 172s.

It was owned by Renault in Wales at Gravells and was a Renault-salesmans car which is why it was late registered. So we are the first owners if you like as renault are down on the log book as the first owners. Just put a deposit on on it and collecting it on wednesday. Its absolutley mint condition with 5k on the clock. I paid £9995 for it which they have made a loss on, i have seen the sheet before the vat that it should have sold for but its been for sale ages and apparently The dealers incur penalies for cars unsold for 90 days or more so they knocked a grand of the cost price. Only problem is its got a bloody badge stuck on the back saying Gravells which i want to take off but dont want to knacker the paintwork. Is it a job for the hair drier? Also how do i find the Serial No. 1-172?, i thought it would have a plaque like the williams. Are the ph1 any slower than ph2?

Congrats on your choice...enjoy!!!

Ask the dealer to remove the badge and what number it is, I would have thought it would have a cirtificate or something to prove its exclusivity :)
