Orange BB And Livebox.

I have just signed up for orange's broadband unlimited package and have got a couple of questions...

How do i know if my computer has an ethernet port? Is it the port that looks like an ordinary telephone modem port but is slightly wider?

Also what is this livebox all about? The woman on the phone when i ordered says its a 2nd free phone line where i can make unlimited calls for nothing? Is this true? She said something about if i were to use it my number would then become an 0845 number instead of my normal area code number (01423) Thats a bit strange isnt it? If someone was to phone my house phone they would then think my house was a business line with the 0845 code:S

Also if its the case of free unlimited calls with this livebox, is it worthwhile downscaling my BT package to the cheapest tarriff? Or even incoming calls only?

Also what is the orange BB service like? Is it reliable?

yes an etherport is bigger than a phone jack. most motherboads ahev them on board.

the livebox is whats called voice over ip. basically a virtual phone line through the actual broadband connection
