Will that gfx card run pretty much any current game at decent frame rates on the highest settings? Dont want to get it and then in 6 months when new games come out have to get yet another one!

graphics card is very good yes.

only had 1 game that wouldnt run on my pc and i have no idea why S T A L K E R.

couldnt run it on 800x600 and lowest settings without some lag. max settings was unplayable.

Never had any problems running stalker with a 8800gts and a X1950XT

it was awful, couldnt run it at all on anywhere near max settings, i grabbed my gun at the start or crowbar, cant remember, then i went into the woods, as i was in the woods, couldnt move the screen or anything

Why do the new adverts the pc say "genuine Windows Vista"?? Do they sell them with pirate copies aswell???

Well I didnt order in the end, someone told me the 8800 320mb version is going to be replaced soon. Is this true? Is it worth waiting for its replacement or should i go for it?

ive also read that the mesh machine comes with a 32bit version of vista and thus you wont see your 4gb of ram, only 3.2gb

well, kind of a debate about the 4gb RAM thing... shos in BIOS and works as normal IIRC, but does not show in Windows as physical mem.

The 8800 series comes in many forms, GTS,GTX,ULTRA - all of different specs.
