original valver speakers

were the speakers installed in the valvers better than what was provided for the lower down clios. I have just installed a pioneer deh8400mp headunit and only have the two front original speakers and the sound they give out is bloody impressive. I know its a very good headunit but would it really make that much impact on what i thought were 12 year old tissue paper speakers.

Yeah i found this when i put my alpine headunit in,
gave out alot of bass and sounded good for paper jobbies, turns out that they where phillips finest paper
I would say that they are uprated being a higher spec clio.

they used sony speakers in my 1.4 RT, and it was a champs ellysees which was the only RT that came with CD player as standard so i thought that those speakers would have been good. but ye, the bass in the valver was well good. i thought phillips was a s**t make, meh. Still gonna get the kevlar upgrades tho i think. n e one know where i could get them from?

Yeah my valver plays very nice aswell!!! I have a blaupunkt headunit!!!
