Original wiring help needed

  The Jinx

Im trying to test the original head unit as a few people are interested in buying it. However when I plugged it in the thing lit up, the sound popped on the speakers but the main screen didnt light up.

When I looked at the back it has an ISO converter on it. Did the DIN sockets originally just plug straight in to the unit?

The blue Ant/Remote lead in the ISO converter had been removed from its socket and joined with the battery lead. However when I removed it and put it back in its normal position nothing on the unit lit up or anything!

Finally I just plugged the din plugs stright in to the unit and again nothing. I basically need to know what colour wires of the power DIN connect to which pins on the unit.

The picture in Haynes implies that the DINs were plugged straight in to the unit.

HELP!

is that using the original wiring looms..or is it an aftermarket h.u??? if its the origonal looms then i dunno but if its aftermarket maybe trying buying a new iso connector and then just trying it like that.. if it dont work take the iso back if it works ask for an extra fiver on top to get the iso with it.. then they can take it back and get the right one for there car :p
