own Diagnostics check

where can i get a program that i can insert onto me laptop and do a diagnostic check for myself on a clio 182? cheers

A decent program would cost in the region of £500 quid , I'd give K-tec a ring mate .

with that handheld code reader do u get a booklet with codes so you no what the fault is? has any body used 1 of these??

Not too sure m8y it does say something about a book but id give em a call just to make sure

Does the RS tuner not do this to some extent?

It certainly does- and gives the real fault definition in English, not some generic code. Also you can manually activate certain actuators eg. fuel pump, thermo fan, oxy sensor heaters, A/C compressor etc.

RSTuner will also cover more codes than what a "generic" reader will.
