Morning all, I was out the other night and after opening the 182 up a little, it went into limp home mode.
I Pulled over, fault cleared itself with an ignition cycle...checked and cleared the codes and found p0120 throttle position sensor circuit A.
Ran fine after this until yesterday, (was leaving to see avengers-was AWESOME!) and it happened again but this time it wouldn't clear. Just sat there hunting up to 2500rpm and back down again.
Managed to limp it home and park it up, cleared the codes again but the light in the centre of the dash (rectangle with squiggle? Minds gone blank) stays on! Car now wouldnt start at all...
Left it over night and tried this morning, no joy. So stripped my air filter off (simota fitted Wednesday) to find my throttle body was jammed closed! Could not budge it for sh1t :/
removed the throttle body...bit of a struggle and got it moving, but it wasn't moving freely, was really notch!
Anyways refitted and it started fine, still hunting but it's running, turned it off and throttle body stuck again - no start!
is this the throttle body at fault or the pedal telling it to close 'too far'
