Paint finish from aerosol cans - pics

Thought i'd share these pics from when i done some repairs on my mx5 a couple of years back, its possible to get an excellent finish from cans as long as you prep it well and blend it in good.

There was a lot of hazing/cracking on the rear bumper i think from a previous repair, so it was all flatted back

Built up a few layers of paint and a few layers of lacquer

Flatted it back again

Then buffed it up, the blend between the new paint and original paint on the rear bumper was seamless, unfortunately as you can see in the pic i buffed through the paint around the reflector and had to paint that part again (no finished pics though)
