Paint on air intake sensor

Cleaned up all my inlet manifold and masked off the grey air intake sensor but didn't remove it.
Painted them up and I've looked down through the inlet with a torch and can see some paint has tracked down onto it...
Does it need replacing? I can remove it and try cleaning it but would this be pointless?

Super annoying as I thought the tape would stop this happening. I presume it's paint anyway?

Managed to remove it without damaging any of the clips and it was just oil, o-ring seems fine so wasn't letting anything past it. Cleaned it up and refitted it.
Thanks for your help Carl
