painting brake calipers

will Hammerite Hammered Finish be ok for painting calipiers or will it just peel of with the heat

yeah that will be fine mate, i did mine a while back and they are fine. do a couple of layers mind!

ok used radiator paint last time still there but it picks off very easy when warm

I've only ever put on coat of smooth on mine when i've done them, never had a problem with it flaking off.

Hammerite smooth is what you want Greg, unless you want them to be textured.

hammered just has a flake to it when ive ever used it

mines hammered effect and doesnt even look that much different from smooth, just do thin coats each time and the effect will not be so noticable
