i have seen a fair few people with this done. mine is semi polished atm but i was considering painting it.
has anyone that has painted it noticed cracking or flaking? or does it stay on there pretty well?

if i do it i will be using plasti-kote super enamel. it is heat resistant to 150 degrees, so that should be plenty for the plenum.
my mate has used plasti-kote on his capri engine and it hasn't cracked yet...

just wanted a little more advice really as i dont want it to go all sh!tty then i have to sand it all down again

i used engine paint, had two or three coats. its very hard stuff and shouldnt come off. I didnt really do anything before painting either, just a good clean

if you can get it sand blasted as its a better base for primer to key to. I found halfords
primer very good aswell as plasticote top layers. They make a wicked orange i have!

After still havin nearly a tin full of caliper paint i thought i may aswell use it and paint the plenum chamber. I thinned it down and sprayed it on so i cud get a slightly better finish goin on.
