Painting Rocker Cover

Hey...so anyone on here who has a cup...and has painted there rocker cover?

Did you remove it to paint it (assume you would tbh) and what did you use to paint it with? (obv high temp stuff)

any pics would also be great..

Dont remove it mate, the rocker cover holds the cams in place on the F4R (in basic terms lol)

You can paint it however you wish really, the 'best' way is to have it painted professionally off the car

Yes, and im stating the best way to get it painted is by having it done Proffessionally off the car, but painting it on the car he can do it anyway he wants, spray or brush

Well i got the stuff to do mine...

gonna mask it all up an paint it with metal primer, then spray with few layers of normal primer, then few of satin black....then sand back the flat writing on top of it

will start maskin up next week probs first bit of work ive done to my new baby lol

My mate tried to paint his when he first got his 172 cup 400 sheets later it's still not painted lol
