Good TV, still would recomend the X or G over it though, but if your not using 1080p sources then you wont see a difference.

the x10 isnt even full hd...

i will be running x box, bueray, and skky hd through it

Doesn't really matter, most people don't sit close enough to the TV to get the benefit of 1080

Is the G10 pretty decent then, might be looking for a new telly soon and if I can persuade the better half a 42 incher wouldn't be too big for the room I reckon it's a likely candidate.

Tis great.

You can watch BBC/ITV HD for free (Freesat) and the picture/sound quality is 10000x better than normal TV.

It will actually make you hate watching SD tv.

We've always had a dish up at this house as it was here when we moved in, but never wanted sky as don't watch enough telly to warrant paying for it, plus got a nice humax pvr thing that's great.

So Freesat seems ideal, popped into Comet just to have a look at them today and I think a 42 might just be a little too big so looks like it might have to be a 37inch.

And I'm not sure if they do a G10 in 37 inch plasma, just an LCD, not sure that'd matter too much though.
