Any reason not to use one? They are surely too ridiculously simple to get wrong?

will probably break at some point, the genuine moddified parts aren't cheap, but they won't go wrong, plus you'll have 12months warranty

It's looking like you're going to be stealing the last of my disposable this month so I'm looking for a cheap fix at the moment , it's £20 for one that'll fit without having to butcher my engine loom

Have you any experience of the pattern bits?

I fitted a pattern crank sensor but it failed after a few months so I ended up getting the modified loom and sensor fitted by Renault.
