PayPal Echeques, whats the crack with these?

Why have these suddenly started? I keep paying for things with them, whereas before used to send the cash right away, it's annoying if i want anything asap.

I guess you either have no funds in your paypal account or have it attached to your bank account. As far as I know, they're the only reasons an e-cheque would be used.

If you have a debit or credit card on your paypal account then the funds should be pretty much instant.

It's always worked before? Just lately started to do it, never changed a thing.

it happened to me when my debit/credit card details expired.

I haven't had the Instant Bank transfer option avavilable for months now, it's always disabled. I simply pay straight from my credit/debit card. The Echeques are a waste of space!

just clicked in my head, i ordered a new card and the numbers changed.

eCheques piss me off, people often use them on me and then blame me for not sending the goods straight away...tut tut.
