PC Speakers

The speakers for the PC, thanks to the gerbils, are on ther last legs, so I'm fancying buying a new set.
Any suggestions?

Bose Companion 3's. About £200 but for an extra £75 you can get the Companion 5's. Amazing speakers! They are cheaper than the bose sound dock but put it to shame! And they make the logitech ones look so cheap.

Ooh, I like the idea of getting some Bose speakers. The ones that I have now, apart form being knackered are shite really.

Where would be the best (cheapest ) place online to get speakers from?

It depends how many speakers you want, personally you can't beat Logitech Z-2300 for a 2.1 setup imo.

If you want surround get a digital home theater system as they have a built in decoder for true surround sound, they are on stands too so saves drilling holes in the walls.

Aego m's are streets ahead of anything else. You won't regret it. Acoustic energy make hi fi speakers, logitech make peripherals, bose make overpriced tat for suckers. The end.
