Interesting times ahead - though I can't help but think it's falling between two established points in the market.
It's too lowly in overall spec for the PCMR - especially the 8GB VRAM when already we're being told that AAA titles are hitting the headroom that such capacity brings. Then conversely, expecting console owners to stump up £1,200 for the top spec version just seems expensive - more so when the 2TB PS5 Pro can be had for over £400 less. Then there's the uphill battle to get established console players out from their PlayStation or XBox comfort zones, into a completely new ecosystem. Will many make that switch?
Hopefully, it will sell well and evolve into a family of varying options - though not too many as you may then just simply buy a proper PC and be done with it. Does look fairly smart, tbh.
