PC > TV Question

Is it possible to get a cable that will connect from my PC and monitor and PC and TV at the same time?

That way I can be lazy and dont have to mess about unplugging stuff.

what type of tv are you connecting to? what connections will it allow?
and are you wanting to use the tv instead of a monitor?

I havent got the TV yet.

I just want to be able to have my PC on with my monitor and then be able to put the TV on and change the channel or whatever and not have to worry about swapping cables over.

Easy peezy mate... most graphics cards (last couple of year old) have video out.. just run an rca from that to the video IN of your tellie.. your wont get the pc sound through your tv speakers(obviously) but i use the 5.1 setup of my pc anyway so its not needed... In the GFX options select the "dual view"option and then its like running two monitors OR an extended desktop.. i just select my SCART channel on tellie and drag drop what ever windows from my pc monitor over to the right and onto my TV... media files, pics, whatever... handy

  Better than yours. C*nt.
I think you're all on the wrong idea. Are you going to be running a HD TV yeah?

Get any old dualhead card - most modern PCIe cards are, and many AGP cards too.
