As a rule I get no trouble in my Cup what so ever, apart from last night where a group of young guy's in a Scenic undertook me at about 90mph on a dual carrage way, went to undertake the car in front as well and almost got a tank slapper on when the car in front went to pull in to the slow lane to let them past.

They then went belting round the round about and came up along side me again where I sat at a nice steady 60mph until they got fed up.

In 6 months I've had 4 cars 'bother' me

A fiesta ST wanted to take part in the traffic lights GP late at night once.
There is a sky blue (ish) escort with far too much body kit that also wanted a go in the traffic lights GP late one night.
A vectra taxi (dunno engine) wanted to tempt a race out of me on the way home from clubbing down the motorway once



But the most bizarre one was when I was coming home on an A road in rush hour. It was a 1 lane road but split into 2 lanes at the lights. I was in the left and a (new ish) Golf was in the right, we were both about 3rd in the queue. As the lights went green we started filtering into the 1 lane so I positioned myself to go into the traffic using the 1 from the left, 1 from the right system most people seemed to be doing. I happened to be in front of the gold, which is where I was 'meant' to be but he decided to race up the middle of the road, beep me, then proceed to overtake about 5 cars before pulling back in.

Properly weird considering it wasnt an open road, it was a quite a residential area actually

I think the colour makes a big difference, my old black 172 was quite stealthy and slipped under the radar, but the bright blue cup attracts all sorts, mostly diesel rep mobiles

Also get alot of fellow 1*2's trying it on since i have a small "powered by RStuning" sticker on it, suppose i'm asking for it really

Tbh, I've never really come across this.

I've seen people who might want to try it on, but in the year I've had mine I've only had 1 idiot rev his Fiesta 1.1, 3 up at the lights.

I'm sure some on here go out looking for this type of thing or miss read the situation and think the other car wants a race.

Not raced anything thats actually left me for dead yet.. except my stepdad in his aston! lol

Having said that on past exp a 330ci doesnt 'woop' or get 'wooped' by a 182 even in a straight line.

Not much but had some cnut in a mk5 golf gti overtake me in a 30 this morning nearly crashing into the side of me after getting the timing wrong and having to pull in to avoid an oncoming vehicle

Looks like the driver & passenger were 'lads' so I'm sure it made them feel special overtaking a 172 on a very narrow residential road and nearly causing an accident in the process

Depends what you call slow. I wouldn't call them [330Ci] slow because they are not. A Bedford Rascal is slow.

Depends what you call slow. I wouldn't call them [330Ci] slow because they are not. A Bedford Rascal is slow.

lol, not highest prioroty either mate, the cars setup mainly for fast road use, it just took well to the strip. its on coilovers, poly bushes,lightweight wheels, semi slicks caged, stripped, bucket seat, poly windows, 4 pot calipers etc etc, slings itself round the twisties pretty well to boot!hehe!
