Performance 65mm throttle body

  Lionel Richie
well it has been done in the "correct" method, but the stock TB isn't a restriction, so its a waste of time IMO

As Fred has said, the stock tb does not restrict flow - you do get the effect it has improved things if you fit a bigger one mind, but thats only because the butterfly is physically larger and for every % you open the throttle, a larger one will naturally let in more air - what this tends to give is a jerky throttle as it gives the equivilent of opening the throttle sharper.

On WOT though, it won't give a benefit, as the standard tb can flow plenty - the crappy inlet design is the big restriction IMO
