I'm binning the air con on mine too, should free up an extra horse or two aswell.

Think mine must of got missed out on that little tribe, although it does have CC it made 174bhp which is still healthy enough

theres a few about Chip mines not as high as Laines but mine made 182bhp in november and thats standard

I've been quite surprised at the amount of variance between all the different engines on the 172s, I cant think of any other recent engine that varies as much, its the sort of dodgy production tolerances that I thought I had left behind with A series engines etc, most modern engines are FAR more consistant.

Agree with you Chip-mk1, but apparently Nissan GTR's VR38DETT vary substantially in output from engine to engine and they are hand built.
