Persistent Warning Light

Fitted a decat over a week ago and I got the emissions light come on. I bought a fault reader to clear the fault which works but the light comes back on randomly.
Is there any way of permanently removing the fault?

Rear out only. Cable tied it to underneath of car and plugged the hole.

mines like that with the cat. thread was no good in the boss so i plugged it and tied it up. never had a light
