Petrol gauge doesn't work !

I have a 172 and the petrol gauge just doesn't work at all, but the computer fuel gauge does work. Please help guys?

Have you tested for power to/from the sender?

did you check the fuel level sensing unit (inside fuel farm)?

Is this a ph1? I've just changed the fuel pump/sender/filter on mine - it's all in one unit. Can't understand how the electronic gauge works but not the analogue one? They get the info from the same place. Maybe the actual gauge in your dash in broken?

Yes it is a ph1, it is strange how analogue gauge doesn't work but digital does. But thanks for info
