Petrol problem...

Long story short, petrolprices too expensive, I go into ROI to buy mine in jerry cans. So, tonight, when putting a can in I noticed a flake of paint, about half an inch long fall out of the can and into my tank. Is this going to cause me a problem?

there are fuel filters in the tank, so i doubt it will.

There's a gauze in the filler neck anyway from memory so I doubt it'll even reach your tank.
