my mate has got one and when i had the 172 we had a play!

i was pulling away on strights and bends, not a lot, but more then i though i would

I'd say the 172 would take it, but the 206GTI aint a bad car IMO, would particularly like one but I think they get less recognition than they probably deserve.

Done many miles in one, drove many ? 138 was poor, 180 made little improvement.

I had a look at the Pug206Gti180 before i bought the 172.
It was swift, but not quick. Much preffered the 172 which is why i bought it. 206 felt massive inside, the windscreen is huge!

i couldnt decide on the 172 or the 206 180 but i went for the 172 as they a lot cheaper and felt more responsive. I really like the look of the 206 gti 180's though

I remember reading a article on the 182 and a Gti 180, the said the clio was in a different league performance wise. Maybe that was track based action?

mate of mines got a 206 180 its silly quick RR day last year with PFC mag it didnt even get a touque reading it wouldnt register unless you class 1000pound of touque a real reading dunno if anybody from the warrington area have been past The Griffin he's the manager there reg says stew! ill get the propper readings so you can see! please no one get upperty over what ive said! im crap at explaining things over type!

allright chaps its my mate that posted on here about the ph-quick and 180gti.
we had a little play the other night and they are identical , i do like the 172 s but didnt really like the interior's as much as the gti 180.
anyway cheers marcus
