ph1 172 to buy or not to buy ???

I have been offered a silver ph1 172 with a snapped cambelt for £450. The rest of the car looks in good condition and completly original minus a v6 airbox. Being a mechanic thenlqbour won't cost nothing but my question is, is it worth buying and fixing or maybe sell it for parts ?

Whats the milage on the car Jigg? Also, does the car have service history. few owners..? All the usual things that make a car desirable? What colour is it?

Junglist is selling a good engine with all replaced belts for £200, I'd swap the engine.
& id prob try and get the car for cheaper make a daft offer, u never know!
most ppl break them to try and recuperate some money back, not for gains!
interior, wheels, exhaust if stainless, bumpers wings, shocks will all get sold probably, but with the re-surge in popularity of phase 1's it'd be worth more complete in my opinion..
