Ph1 Aftermarket HU and Stalk Control

I've done that. But it doesn't work. Well, the HU works but the stalk control doesn't.

I presume the little blue one is for the stalk but I'm not certain.

Anyone help moi?

Can't help, but LOVING the illustration.

My interface between hu and stalk was slightly different, not going through the plug/harness shown above.

Dan - Have you checked that your HU is compatible with stalk adapters? Not all of them are.

What make of stalk adapter have you bought? I can't see anything up with how you have wired it up. Mine works fine.

Some of the adapters you need to take the dash off and plug it into the clock - the more expensive ones you don't have to do that though.

I bought it from MT Audio. It's what he said I needed and didn't need to take the top dash off.

Connect2U or something like that I think.

No idea bud. There was a shitty Sony HU in there that it wasn't connected too.

It might not be that, sometimes boxes are labeled wrong, still work etc etc.

I've sent him a PM, so I'm sure he'll sort it all out.

Result! Blue is the disc changer, not stalk control.

There is a yellow one somewhere. I need to find that! Lol.

Lol. Never heard that term in my entire life. I thought it was either a typo or dodgy phone auto-correct.

I managed to find it anyway. Was just tucked right out of the way.

When I fitted a aftermarket head unit in my astra with stalk control I had to connect one bit, turn the ignition on then off and connect the rest and then it worked! Typical male in me didn't read the instructions and just stuck it all in then stormed back to Halfords lol!

Did you ever get this sorted ? Cos I'm in the same boat.....everything is plugged into where it should be and it doesnt work
