how do i go about taking the gear knob off? i wnt to fit the good old pool ball onto it

heard ther a nightmare to get off - try heating it up ant pulling with mollgrips!

Glued on apparently, ive tried twisting, pulling on mine etc and it wouldnt budge.

Too much hassle I think just to replace it tbh.

Me and JAmie tried to swap one over-total nightmare. Couldn't grip it tight enough to remove it without scoring/flatting it
