ph1 & ph2 speedo sensor gearboxes?

What year in the ph2 clios do they go upto that still has the speedo sensor gearbox? And are there diferences between the ph1 & ph2 sensor itself?

03/53 is when they changed to the 182 non sensor setup, but you HAVE to check

My 52 plate is already getting the speed signal from the ABS. But it also has the 182 style bolted diff.

The stamps on the casing are 03 but it has the hole for a speedo sensor, just my spare one doesnt seem to fit right in! Does the non sensor box still have the hole in the casing but is blocked off? Can i check the codes off the box somewhere to find out for sure?

yep some have the casting but no hole

JC5 129 is the problem box, some have the sensor hole and some don't

I'm not sure then if thats what i have, casting but no hole. The stamp on my box is JC5 130 if thats any help?

The 130 is the late 172 and 182 item which is not suitable for speedo drive applications. But i heard that there is some kind of way to reprogramm the uch to feed the speedo with the ABS signal. Maybe someone can confirm this!?
