Ph1 - will 205/45/16 fit?

Hi all,

Ph1 with ph2 Turinis, running 195/45/16 at the moment, will 205/45/16 fit underneath? Will there be suffiicient clearance between the tyre and dampers?

Wheels are 7x16 et38.5.

A 40 minute trawl through 12 pages and 300 threads yielded no results of note! So many more options in terms of tyres if the 205/45 will fit.

Yeah they do fit. 195/45/16 are about 20 bob cheaper though

Your car is pretty low, and the wheels you have fitted have a wider offset than the car is meant to have fitted (guessing ph1's came with a plus 40 offset like other models)

They'll probably scrub mate, id stick with 195's.

205/40 r16 fit no problem, no scrubbing issues!
