PH1 With PH2 Lights Problem

Hi Guys!

Basically i fitted PH2 lights to my 172 back when i got it, all was well. But now for some reason when im indicating left it works fine but when i press the brake the indicator goes off and when i release off the brake the indicator comes back on. My left side brake light is not working now too. Also when i press the brake driving normally i can see the left indicator light on the speedo light up faintly.

Really confused on whats going on but it needs sorting!

Can anyone diagnose this for me?

Earthing problem. Rust on the earth connections.


If one is fine, try linking it up to the good earth point and see if it fixes

Yeah deffo sounds like an Earth problem,
