Ph2 gear stick fit a Ph1?

Gaitor and all? Just wondering as mine has the old "melting" syndrome and thought a Ph2 one would look nicer

Thoughts and sharing of knowledge?

Yes it should, as my old RSi had the ph2 knob as std, which would actually make it a ph1 knob. They are a nightmare to get off intact though, may be easier changing the gear lever itself.

Yeah thats what I was thinking of doing, do you think the bottom of the gaitor would be the same shape and size?

The base of the gaiter is different where it clips in, but they are easy to swap over though, the material is just stapled onto the plastic.
