hi i have a mk2 ph1 an just bought some ph2 rear lights can i just put the ph2 cases on the existing bulb holdersor are the bulbs in different places.

The bulbs are in the same places on Ph1 and Ph2. You may have to bend or break the clips on the Ph2 clusters to make the Ph1 bulb holders fit properly, as the clips are in different places between the phases.

u wont need to do that. ph1 and ph2 rear lights are the same

You need the bulb holders from the phase 2 lights ideally. There's a guide in the guides section

i have the ph2 bulb holders its just easier to put the casing over rather than rewiring them, i tried and they dont quite fit anyway thanks people
