phase 2 donating heart to phase 1

fancy a ph1 172 to tinker with,im.breaking a cup and have a complete engine

if i bought a ph1with a engine failure the bare phase 2 engine would drop straight on wouldnt it?

No ph1 and ph2 manifolds are the same.

Just keep ph1 loom, throttle etc and bolt on ph1 inlets etc to ph2 engine.

Throttle body off a ph1 has a different bolt pattern to a dbw throttle body as well doesn't it?

Think so, that's why I said use ph1 inlets etc basically just use everything ph1 but the ph2 bare engine.

For the record, your correct, it does. Also the ph1 inlet has a fitting for the idle control valve.
