phase 2 sport rear bumber on a phase 1 sport

hi, will the phase 2 sport rear bumper fit straight onto a phase one with out any mods? and am i right in saying that the phase 2 bumper is deeper? has any people got that mod and with any pics of it.

i think it's a bit wider than the ph1 m8 but i'm not 100% sure
