then put 49.59litres of optimax in what size is the tank?

nah 50L is nominal capacity, light comes on at 9.3 gals (42 L)

add on filler pipe and more like 51 or 52

I did 115 on orange and got 51L in the D ;-O

you have to be talking much older cars than these though, and anyway they all have decent fuel filters to stop rubbish getting through
