Phillips Bluevision

Ive just got the bluevisions h7s for my car main beam and you get a free set of side lights but its say in the book that they are h1 i would check the bulb in the car before ordering

Such an improvement on the standard ones - not sure if they are the best out there but they are more than bright enough for me.

I have H1 and H7 (can't remember which is main and dip - but powerbulbs will tell you if you select your car) and I got free sidelights too. Also got osram diadem blue tint indicators there too

When I have main beam on at night its like daylight - not as bright as xenons but vision is great

Have a look at PIAA stuff.

I've got their Extreme White Plus H4 bulbs and they are excellent, loads and loads of light

Not very cheap though... lol

I had Blue Vision headlights and they weren't near the GT150's.. and they are pretty much the same price!

I'll be getting the GT150's from now on! (unless I get a car with Xenons :p)

  Ford Fiesta
got main beam and sidelight bluevision on my 182, match the xenon dipped much better. And last ages.

  Clio 172 Mk2
Hi guys!

Ive got a 172 Mk2 - and Ive been thinking of getting main beam replacement bulbs to match the HID dipped beam - just wondering what bulb type I need - H1 or H7? Where can I get them cheaply and with free sidelights as some have? Are the brighter silvervisions any good? Do they match the xenons too?

Cheers in advance.

Same here, I have Xenons but want to make my side lights and main beam match the blueness of the Xenons. Was looking at the Philips Bluevision pack with the free blue sidelights, was just wondering if I have the right codes for the right bulbs.

^^ DO I HAVE THESE CODES IN THE RIGHT PLACES??

Cheers

^^^

Matt182 says that the main beam is actually H7 instead of H1 as published in the book! as Matt182`s lights are the same as mine I am ordering H7s. Where do I order from so that I get the free sidelights?

Cheers

I got mine from http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk you get a 10% discount for being a cliosport member and with the bluevisions you get the side lights in the box

So you should have the same Xenon headlamp unit as me, so I should ok for getting the H7 for the Main/High beam then??

Will get them from powerbulbs like you say, got my silvervisions from them in the week too, super fast delivery aswell.

Chris

I would say so if your main beam bulb has a black cover over the end of the bulb i would say they are h7s thats like mine but if you look at the pic without Xenons they are in the dipped beam they are the same as my main beam with the black bit and they are h7s

Thanks Matt, just went out and had a look at the main beam bulb, indeed it does have a black coating on the end so I have just ordered the H7 Bluevision kit from powerbulbs, just under 25 notes with the cliosport discount.

Thanks for the help.

Does that go for ph1 172s as well as ph2?

Reason I ask is that www.powerbulbs.co.uk list a year 2000 Clio as H4 for low beam and HB3 9005 for high beam...

Mine are H7 full beam and HB3 dipped

Typical, I went on what powerbulbs said last week and ordered H4 bulbs :(

Hope they accept exchanges for the correct bulbs, especially seeing as it was their website that prompted me to get the H4s in the first please.

Cheers for that Vinny.

  ph1 172...a red one

yeah they will replace them, i did the same thing a couple of months ago...remember you need to find a trained dwarf to swap out the nearside bulb...lol

I did the same went on what that site said and ordered h1s for my main beam and it said in the renault book that they were h1s so that is what i ordered went to fit them and they were h7s:mad: got the right one last week and put them in you can see so much the drivers side was a pain stupid air con pipe

  RS 200
^^ Agreed that aircon pipe couldnt have been put in a worse place, stratched my hands up twisting to get through the gap, was worth it though.

Here is the difference in the sidelights with bluevisions:

So did i took the plastic cover off that gave a bit more room. That looks better the full beam is alot bettter aswell did you order the second set of silvervisions with that order

They are philips bluevision you can get them free if you buy the h1s or h7s bluevisions http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk/ they do look good in that pic i just put mine in didnt do a before and after so didnt see the difference but from the pics they look better

Thats not bad i was going to do that and decided that i wanted the main beam bulbs aswell so got the h7s with the side light bulbs

  RS 200
As above they are the w5w sidelight bulbs that come in the pack when I bought the H7 Bluevisions. The sidelights are the little blue ones that you can see in the packet on this page LINK .
You can get the side lights seperate which will fit the same headlight unit as mine in this LINK

Matt, I totally forgot about the other silvervisions when I got all excited about ordering the Bluevisions. Will wait to some warmer weather now though I think, will maybe look at moving the silvervisions to the rear and getting the Osram Diadems for the front for the blue tint.
But to be honest, I dont know really, might just stick with another set of Silvervisions.

They do look good in the back aswell glad i got them now just looking at the fogs now will see what i can find nice to keep them the same

  ST
Whats the point in changing the fog bulbs mate? I can count on my one hand how many times i've actually used them in the past 2 years of driving my dynamique for up til mid december and currently my 182....

I don't use mine that much actually don't drive my car that much but if i do use them i would like them the same and will waste a bit of money aswell the difference in the main beam is amazing so it will all help on those back lanes where i live
