Photo album duplicates?

I've started to add albums to my photos on my iphone, however the originals are kept in my camera roll.

Is is there a way to have them only saved in the album? It'd just free up some memory and I obviously don't need them twice.

Any my help appreciated.

They won't be there twice, making an album is just like tagging a photo with that album name. A sorting method of your camera roll if you will.

And, no I don't think you can remove from camera roll.

Sorry, i meant to say that they are both in my camera roll and the album. I'm trying to keep them in the album whilst removing them from the camera roll.


orrrr do you mean they won't be saved using twice my phones memory?
