Not a complete newbie at this as i used to take lots of pics on a 350D.
I didnt know much about manual settings etc etc but always seemed to take good pictures.
I have ordered a
Canon 500D with 18-55 Lens
2 x 4GB Sandisk Extreme 3 cards
Tamrac Back
What else would be good for basics? Im not going to be snapping at functions etc etc just for fun so what do you recommend?
Also is it worth a mac mini plugged into my TV just for photo editing or should i get something equally as good for the laptop?
