Photoshop Question

  It's A Reno
Quick question.
I've been given the opportunity to get Photoshop 7 and Photoshop 7.01 update.
Is it any good and worth having and if not why not and what is the preferred version.

Ta!!! :)

  Never above 25mpg
Photoshop 7 is mint. I use it. Have never needed to upgrade as this does everything I want.

Same reason Ive never fancied upgrading from XP

  328, MK1 Clio 1.4
The more recent ones,

But if your only doing a few bits and bobs with it, nothing to hardcore then 7 should be fine.

One more question. I've also get the chance of Paintshop Pro version 8.
What is this used for?

Ok, last question (maybe). :)

Does anyone know of a good online guide to using and making the most of Photoshop?

There is thousands dude.

I used the digimods ones. It's all for doing stuff to mod cars but gives you the basics. But this was back before YouTube  so now you can just watch someone do it all.

How old are you...50? lol
Thanks for that matey. I've only had it for a few hours and have had a look on Youtube and videojug, but the guides weren't that great.

Just had a look on digimods and that looks like a seriously good guide.
Thanks Dan! :D

Lol. Well when I started using it, I guess it must be 8 years ago.

Just as you think you're getting you'll see someone do something that seems impossible. 6months later you can do it perfectly and you see something else. It's one of those things I don't think you ever master.

Digimods is good. It's simple and all those things can be applied to others. It's the processes and how it's done you need to learn. The cars just give you a subject.

Yeah, I'm expecting a long learning curve as you say.
In the meantime, I have done the wise thing and set the g/f off learning it on the digimods site and then she can tell me. :approve:
