Pi**ed OFF!!!!

  Tesla MP3 2021
Ive had my car since september and done nearly 4000miles init.
i got it from renault liverpool and it had just had its 18000 sevice when i got it.it now has been back twice to arnold clarke for the coolant bootle.....due to the fact that it drinks it more than petrol.

renault liverpool said yep the car the fine no problems...evan tho all the coolant had been sprayed all over the bottom of the engine bay and looked liked it had been there a while....

but there is a serious problem......when driving back from enfield last sat the breaks go like wood and basicially just stopped working.so pulled over, parked up and waited for renault assist (aa) to come.gets the engine cover off and the break fluid was v low so he topped it up.breaks have been ok but not fully working since. got it back to renault today and they have said
that the 2 front discs are completely broken up and pads almost warn down completely and the rear pads are 85% warn.....

so now im in the process of giving some s**t to renault liverpool.
but shorley there is a major problem for the breaks to go that bad in less that 3000miles.

cheers ad.
(sorry for all the lines...lol)

That does sound very, very s**t for the disks to be gone after that milage.....I'd definately be on Renaults back demanding some answers.

  BMW 330d :)
Ive had the same experience with the renault dealers. They cover their asses first by blaming it on the owner even though it is obviously a prob with the equipment.

But i got mine replaced eventually under warranty!

i dont mean to sound harsh, but compaired to most of us on here, you havent even began to have problems....it always starts with something small.

they probs didnt change the brake pads then (almost certain, or the put an old set in. 2 reasons, 1. its cheaper for them, 2. they mk more money off you down the line) if it had old pads in, they could have worn the discs down in 4000 miles, but they'd have to be pretty ruff!

  Tesla MP3 2021
yeah that would make sense....because you should see the state of the discs.they are all broken up in loads of different places.

  Clio 172 mk2
Some trim falling off is one thing but having the brakes fall apart is potentially life threatening.

I'd get them to replace them

^^ where you buy it from??? Renault liverpool??

I agree you shouldnt pay for them either. If the pads were worn they should have put new ones on.

Always concerns me when a car is due a service prior to delivery.
